This April overnight event is for ladies only!

After a beautiful drive up from the Valley on Saturday morning, we’ll stop for lunch along the way to Winslow, Arizona for an overnight stay and dinner at the La Posada Hotel.

La Posada, “the resting place,” was one of the finest hotels ever built in the Southwest when it opened in 1930. And this historic hotel on Route 66 is still charming after all this time. Rooms have been restored carefully, and many pieces of the Mary Colter design remain, along with extensive artwork and gardens throughout the property. After settling in, we’ll gather for an extended informal Happy Hour, then enjoy dinner at the famous and beautiful Turquoise Room for southwest contemporary cuisine. https://theturquoiseroom.com

On Sunday, we’ll gather at the legendary landmark, Standin’ on the Corner Park, for a group photo. The park has captured the hearts and imaginations of music lovers and road-trippers alike along Route 66. Made famous by the Eagles’ hit song, it’s a must-see!

You may wish to explore downtown Winslow and other Route 66 locations before heading home on your own.
