Autocross is the sport of trying to navigate your car through a defined course of pylons usually on a large parking lot, faster than your competition.

Driver Education

The goal of the Porsche Club of America’s Driver Education Program is to provide a safe and structured learning environment where participants can improve their driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of their vehicle dynamics and driving safety.

A Driving Tour is a relaxing drive (usually with a Porsche in view in front and in back of you) to an interesting destination in and around the Phoenix area, and sometimes to further destinations around the state and beyond.

Concours D'Elegance

In the Arizona Region, our annual Concours d’Elegance is called Phoenix Flight. Held in late October or early November, Phoenix Flight has been held annually since 1977 (one of the longest running PCA events in the country) and has grown into the biggest Porsche event in Arizona.

Tech Sessions are seminars held at a local business facility, at Porsche North Scottsdale or Porsche of Chandler, presenting an in depth discussion or demonstration of a particular subject matter.

One of the great benefits of the joining the AZPCA is the friendships that you make. We like to say “Join for the Porsches, stay for the people!”

Welcome to the AZPCA website

The site is getting a makeover (and is still in progress 7/23/24)

The web team has been hard at work to bring you a new website. The new site was migrated on 7/22/24 and there is still some touch up to be completed on 7/23/24. If you see anything glaringly off or out of place, please let the webmaster team know

Clicking with the New AZPCA Site

Looks a lot like the previous one, right? Call it a refresh or new haircut. The look is very similar to the site you’re used to seeing, but some things are trimmed and others replaced. The home page now includes some newsy stuff to give you reason to check back often to find out what this active club is up to.

The design is the joint effort of webmasters Mike Ferring and Gregg Bookspan. Gregg handled all the hard stuff: making the gears mesh and the turbo spin. Mike kibbitzed.

Here were our objectives:

Provide members information and registration links for future, current, and recent club activities.
Offer a resource/repository for essential club information.
Offer an entry point and brochure for potential new members.
Generate revenue through advertising.

This dynamic PCA Zone has Club Racing, Concours d’Elegance, Rally, Driver’s Education, Autocross, Time Trial and special events scheduled throughout the year. Zone 8 is about the people and we have fun!
