The Arizona Region

Receiving the PCA charter in 1959.
Arizona Region (AZPCA for short) has been around almost as long as the national organization. Scottsdale resident Gene Bussian organized a group of Porsche aficionados in November 1958, and they were granted a PCA charter on March 7, 1959. The Arizona Region of the Porsche Club of America was born.

It’s not just the cars; it’s the people. Dan Bouet & Daughter
Here are our  formal objectives: to promote the highest standards of courtesy and safety on the roads; to enjoy and share the goodwill and fellowship engendered by owning a Porsche; to maintain the highest standards of operation and performance of the marque; to establish mutually beneficial relationships with the Porsche factory, dealers and other service sources; to exchange ideas with other Porsche Clubs throughout the world; and to establish cooperative relationships with other sports car clubs. We think that membership in the Porsche Club of America will add to your enjoyment of owning one of the finest automobiles in the world. Our region is extremely active. Each year, we host High Performance Driver Education events, multi-day Tours, Phoenix Flight (our 3-day multi-event weekend held annually for nearly 50 years), an Autocross series, member picnics, a Holiday Party, as well as many local area events such as monthly meetings, Sunday Drives, and tech sessions. The Arizona Region also publishes a huge, monthly online newsletter, Going Places. Registration for our events are handled by Hagerty’s Motorsportreg.
