GTP rookie Laurin Heinrich on board the JDC-Miller Motorsports Porsche 963 outraced both of the Penske Porsche Motorsport entries at the high-speed Glen, finished on the podium and stayed within shouting distance of GTP points leader Jack Aitken.

Action Express Racing and its Cadillac V-Series R won the race, its second straight victory in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship in a crash-strewn six-hour race.
