Temecula Wine Country Adventure
October 12, 2015 @ 1:00 am - October 15, 2015 @ 10:00 am
Join your fellow AZPCA members for a relaxing four-day trip to the wine country of Southern California in Temecula. Temecula has developed a reputation for good wines and comfortable accommodations filled with charm, all in a beautiful pastoral setting of rolling green hills dotted with vineyards.
A group drive to Temecula is planned, leaving the morning of October 12, led by our own Rook Younger. Throughout the week, you can choose to join the group for wine tasting and a winery tour, scenic drives, a Porsche restoration facility tour, lots of socializing with your PCA friends, a group dinner at one of the excellent area restaurants, and a wine and munchies event at the Creekside Guest House. There will also be free time to explore Old Town Temecula or visit other wineries and venues. Check out the items below to plan your trip and save your spots.
Members will need to make their own reservations at the Temecula Creek Inn. We have reserved a block of Executive Rooms and the Creekside Guest House at the Temecula Creek Inn, http://www.temeculacreekinn.com/. The rooms are for the nights of Oct 12th, 13th, and 14th, departing on the 15th. The room rate is $119 per night plus taxes payable to the Temecula Creek Inn. Resort fee has been waived. You can reserve your Executive Rooms now by calling the Inn at 1.888.976.3404. Make sure you tell them that you are with the Porsche Club Arizona Region to get your special rate and credit our account. Your reservation provides you with complimentary in-room coffee, High Speed Internet, and unlimited use of the pool and fitness center. There is also a special rate of $45 for golfing.
The cozy Creekside Guest House has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, kitchen, game room, family room and a spacious patio (with golf course views); one room is already taken! The remaining 2 bedrooms share a bath, and the nightly rates are reduced. This comfortable house will be full of activity on Monday evening for our group get-together. All the Porsches can park there for the evening, while their owners enjoy wine and munchies. If you are interested in staying at the Guest House, please contact Denise Brasile (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
