Porsches and Pancakes at The Thumb

It’s Saturday morning and after a long hard week at the office, you decide that you need to get some high-octane gas for the race car you are taking to the DE next week, get the spouse’s and your car washed and waxed by hand, find a really nice wine to take to your neighbors for dinner tonight and you are craving a hearty breakfast that you will top off with a cappuccino and a pastry. It sounds like you will be making 5-6 stops and getting back home late this afternoon, doesn’t it? Well it doesn’t have to be that way because you can do all of the above and more with a single stop at Tom’s Thumb Fresh Market, including an optional hand car wash if we can pull the logistics together to determine demand for that Saturday morning.

From the outside at its Bell Road location it looks like a typical gas station/car wash but once you enter the front door you realize that you and Toto are no longer in Kansas. In fact, just to the right of the main entry is a dining area with a chandelier. When did you last see a chandelier in a gas station? Bottom line, sign-up and come on down, good food and friendship promised for the event!
