SUMMARY:Tonto Natural Bridge Picnic Drive
DESCRIPTION:\nWe have a drive planned in mid-September to Tonto Natural Bri
 dge State Park\, located up the Mogollon Rim from Payson\, where you will 
 be encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy while you experience the be
 autiful park setting with your PCA friends.\nTonto Natural Bridge is belie
 ved to be the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. There are hi
 king trails with several scenic viewpoints\, and one trail takes you all t
 he way to an observation deck in the creek bottom. The park provides a hab
 itat where you are likely to spot deer\, javelina\, an active community of
  hummingbirds\, and numerous other forest critters. The historic Goodfello
 w Lodge features interpretive exhibits including artifacts on the history 
 of Tonto Natural Bridge\, information about travertine\, and prehistoric i
