Sedona Red Rock Country Tour
March 13 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Experience the beauty of Arizona Red Rock Country on this tour to Sedona, known the world over for its spectacular scenery. The red rocks, buttes, and spires are named for familiar items they resemble, such as Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Coffee Pot Rock. The route for this tour will take us to Sedona via the Black Canyon Highway, leaving the Sonoran Desert for the higher elevations of the Central Arizona mountains and canyons.
We will follow the Red Rock Scenic Byway to our final destination, Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village.
Lunch is on your own. There are several restaurants in the Tlaquepaque Village and many very good options elsewhere in Sedona. After lunch you may want to continue on Highway 89-A through West Sedona to the winding road through Page Springs to Cornville , then back on I-17 to the Valley. Or you may want to return via the scenic byway, where multiple pullouts offer more opportunities for views of the beautiful red rock formations.
