1991 Porsche C2 Cabriolet. 3.6L, 5spd. Slate grey metallic – original paint is in great shape, recently had it detailed/waxed professionally. 141,000 miles. I’ve owned the car for the past 7 years, and have EVERY receipt from all previous owners. The car has been very well taken care of, and a lot of major work has been done over the past 20,000 miles include major engine work (rings, head studs, valves, clutch at 121,000), brakes and tie rods (disk/pads at 131,000). Service done last month includes oil/filter change, AC Belt, K&N filter re-charge, valve cover gaskets. The top is in great shape, I have replaced the motors, micro switches and cables in the past year.
The car is mostly stock, but has had a few upgrades over the years. It has 17” Cup 1 wheels, with 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 Michelin Pilot SP2 with 4000 miles on them. There are Euro style clear front indicator lights, as well as a European replica front license plate (its unique, I like it!). I have a copy of the original window sticker, and it was originally grey interior. In 2009, the interior was completely replaced with Cashmere Leather, including all carpeting. That was $3600! The Gauge faces were replaced with white, the Odometer gear was replaced recently by Dick’s in Tempe. There is a performance chip installed, Steve Wong 911Chips, and a Fabspeed Motorsports secondary muffler bypass (original muffler is included). The car runs and drives amazing and gets a lot of attention wherever we go.
There are a few issues, it still leaks a little, the drivers door panel needs a little work (the plastic piece in the arm rest is cracked and a tab broke through the inner backing) and the AC needs re-charged or upgraded or ?? Its sill running R12. I’ve researched the upgrade, spoke with Stuttgart Southwest about it, but haven’t taken it in there yet.
There is a built in trickle charger, a custom car cover, dash cover, fire extinguisher, the wind deflector, manuals, misc parts that go along with it. I don’t need to sell it, but I just got a great deal on a 991, and with the Cayenne in the garage too, we are out of space.
