| 12/2/2009 - 12/2/2009 | Monthly Meeting at Maria, Maria, la Cantina On December 2, our monthly meeting will be at Maria, Maria, la Cantina in the Tempe Marketplace. ( Address is 2000 E Rio Salado Parkway) Once in the Marketplace, just follow the markers to Maria, Maria. It is easy to find and there is plenty of good parking. Come early and enjoy the Cantina. Food will include: Salad, Chicken Tinga Tacos and Beef Suiza, plus sides and desert. As usual price is only $15 each. Monthly meeting will follow. |

| 12/5/2009 - 12/5/2009 | Holiday Party Come join us for our annual end-of-year Holiday Party. This year we are moving to inside the beautiful McCormick Ranch Country Club in Scottsdale. The inside restaurant and bar and patio have room for 100, with great panoramic views of the Palm Course, Lake and Camelback Mountain. The Cocktail party starts at 6pm followed by a festive holiday buffet at 7pm with 2 entrées for $50 per person (please pay via PayPal on the club's web site). Please no checks, paypay is so much easier for everyone! A wonderful singer has being added this year to the evenings events to tickle and entertain us, as well as the much anticipated end-of-year awards and induction of the 2010 officers. We will also be showing a "Year-In-Review" photo slide show throughout the evening. We will be collecting toys and gifts for our children's charity ($25 a couple) like we have in the past several years in lieu of the gift-exchange. Please join us to celebrate a wonderful year of cars and friends in your sparkliest attire. The best dressed couple will receive a special award as voted by the 2009 Board, so dress to impress! GIFTS:We ask each couple or single, bring a new, unwrapped toy/game/gift card for approx $25 for the children/teenagers at the American Cancer Society's Arizona Camp Sunrise. A list of gift items is below. Several couples may want to combine their donations to get a larger priced item. Barb Nichols will be at our event to thank us that evening for our wonderful donations. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, it is easy to find and is a favorite host for the Club. The meeting will be in the Center Room. Food will include: Chips and Salsa, Menu of six selections, plus desert. Only $15 per person. Come early to socialize. Business meeting will follow. Put it on your calendar. |

Join us at Indulge Burgers & More, 10392 N Scottsdale Rd (480) 998-2222 www.indulgeburgers.com on the Southwest Corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Blvd in Scottsdale. They are opening at 8am just for our group. Yeah, it's a burger place, but they have regular breakfast too! $6.95 Build-Your-Own-Omelets, French Toast, Eggs Benedict, and get this - a BACON PANCAKE! If you’ve not tried their Build-Your-Own-Burger, come to the AZ PCA November or December meeting to get a discount postcard to try them over the holidays. Besides a fantastic burger joint, they have great happy hours. And owner Lee Klein (who also owns the Pavilion’s 5 & Diner) loves Porsches just as much as we do. | 1/23/2010 - 1/23/2010 | Tubac Car Show Tour Join us for a drive to Tubac Arizona for the 16th annual Collector Car Show organized by the Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts. We will leave Sat Jan 23 at 7am from the 5 and Diner just east of I-10 on Ray Rd to drive to the Tubac Golf Resort, 1 Otero Rd, Tubac, AZ. We will be joining the Southern Arizona Region to display our cars along with over 500 other cars of all makes and models. The Resort is very close to Tubac where you will find many shops and restaurants, in case you get bored with the cars! In order to participate you must pre-register at http://www.carnuts.org/carshow.htm before Jan 15th, after that you may come with us but will not be able to park with us on the golf course. Proceeds from this event support scholarships and events at Sahuarita High School. The first 500 registrants will receive a unique watercolor poster commemorating the event.
