About the Arizona Region PCA

In 1955, the PCA was founded in Washington, D.C. with the goal of enhancing the Porsche ownership experience. Here in Arizona, Scottsdale resident Gene Bussian organized a group of Porsche aficionados who met in his home for their first meeting in November 1958. In February 1959 the group met to approve officers and request a charter from PCA. The PCA charter was granted on March 7, 1959 and the Arizona Region of the Porsche Club of America was born!

Today, Arizona Region PCA members continue to carry on the long standing tradition of sharing our passion for Porsches and enjoying the camaraderie found within the PCA. Our region is extremely active. Each year, we host five Driver's Education events, Spring and Fall Tours, Phoenix Flight (our 3-day multi-event weekend held annually for the past 30+ years), an Autocross series, member picnics, a Holiday Party, as well as many local area events such as monthly meetings, Sunday Drives, and tech sessions. The Arizona Region also publishes an award-winning monthly newsletter, Going Places.

It's not just the cars, it's the people!
